Inside the DITA Open Toolkit

May 18th, 2011 by Simon Bate

The DITA Open Toolkit (OT) is the standard way to generate deliverables from DITA documents. To the casual user, the OT may seem intimidating, but in reality, it’s fairly easy to download, install, and run.

Today (Wednesday, May 18) at the STC Summit in Sacramento, I’ll be giving a presentation I like to call “A Gentle Introduction to the DITA Open Toolkit.” I hope you can join me today, but if you can’t, we’ll be reprising the presentation in a Webcast on July 26.

If you’re interested in more information on easy ways to quickly extend the capabilities of the DITA Open Toolkit, read my whitepaper Hacking the DITA Open Tookit.

Hope to see you at the conference or online in July!
