Key people

Like every other consulting company on earth, we want you to know that our staff is brilliant. You can read all about us via the links in the sidebar.

But in addition to ridiculous amounts of technical expertise, our group is perhaps best described as eclectic. Amongst us, you will find people who speak Chinese, German, Italian, French, and Spanish. There are also some rudimentary Dutch, vestigial Latin, and limited Japanese skills.

In our spare time, we enjoy chocolate, D&D, choral music, bargain hunting, cycling, gratuitous home improvement projects, writing fiction, swimming, knitting, kayaking, martial arts, yoga, crocheting, and most especially cooking. We have lived in Chicago, Canada, Colorado, California, Charlotte, and even some places that don’t start with C, such as Long Island, New York, Germany, and Seattle.

Technical expertise is “necessary but not sufficient” for a successful project. We work in close collaboration with our customers, usually under difficult, stressful circumstances. (Nobody ever calls us when things are going well.) That means we need to establish trust and build teams that span the customer-consultant divide.

Sometimes, we overachieve in this area…
