TrackAccess: Conference Presentations Without the Hassles

We are offering two TrackAccess webcasts in February. These webcasts offer you conference-quality presentations at the comfort of your own desk. Join us for:

Each webcast is only $19.95. Register soon; we limit the number of participants to ensure attendees can ask questions. To participate, you need a web browser with Flash and the ability to play audio on your computer through speakers or headphones. Attendees ask questions through a chat interface.

Web-Based and Classroom Training

This is the first year we've offered online classes, and the response has been very positive. One student wrote:

The web-based delivery method and pace of the training were perfect for me. Doing the exercises offline and opening each day with the review of those exercises worked very well.

For those who prefer learning in the classroom, we still offer training in our office in North Carolina or at your location.

During the next two months, we're offering the following courses:

You can review our complete 2006 schedule and register for classes in our online store. If you have questions about the difference between classes taught in the classroom and over the web, read our training options summary (or contact training@scriptorium.com).

FrameMaker Workbook Series Now Available as Instant Downloads

We're pleased to announce that all five of our FrameMaker workbooks are now available as downloads in our online store for $49.95 each (a savings of almost $70 off the cost of printed versions).

If you need FrameMaker training on a budget, the workbooks are a great solution, as one buyer noted:

My employer was not going to pay for a FrameMaker training class, so the download option was ideal for me. I could afford to pay for the workbooks myself, and could work through the material on my own schedule.

You can download the workbooks immediately from our online store: there are no shipping charges or delays. You get the workbook in PDF format and the exercise files in minutes.

The PDF versions contain all of the information that the printed workbooks do, but the page size is a bit smaller to optimize viewing on your computer screen. You also get access to video clips that show you how to use the FrameMaker interface.

XSL at WritersUA

We're returning to the WritersUA conference in Palm Springs, California, on April 9–12. This year’s conference is being held at the Wyndham Resort.

Sarah O’Keefe will offer presentations on two XSL-related topics:

This conference, which presents more than 40 experts in the field of user assistance and publishing, is an exceptional opportunity to see the state of technology in our business and to enhance your skills.

We will have a booth in the exhibition hall. Stop by and see a demo of our DocFrame solution on FrameMaker 7.2. Hope to see you there!
