Publishing Fundamentals: FrameMaker 8 Update |
|
As promised, Publishing Fundamentals: Unstructured FrameMaker 8 will be released this spring. Expect to see the printed and PDF versions in late May. Publishing Fundamentals: Structured FrameMaker 8 will be released this summer.
As a small consolation for having to wait until then, we are giving you a peek at the books' covers.
The books will be priced as follows:
- Publishing Fundamentals: Unstructured FrameMaker 8
$49.99 for the printed version and PDF version; $29.99 for just the PDF version.
- Publishing Fundamentals: Structured FrameMaker 8
$39.99 for the printed version and PDF version; $24.99 for just the PDF version.
Those who purchase the printed versions will get the downloaded PDF versions at no extra charge.
As you might already know, if you order the PDF version of Publishing Fundamentals: FrameMaker 7, we will send you a coupon code for $20 off the updated version for FrameMaker 8. You will get the code shortly before we release the first volume.
What you might not know is that the promotion ends this March 31. Order soon! |

Sarah O'Keefe, Alan Pringle, and Matt Arnold have returned from WritersUA. If you were unable to attend, but you'd like to know a bit about what was going on, Sarah and Alan posted their exploits on Scriptorium's blog, Palimpsest. You can also get a peek at what our booth was like, complete with free chocolate and Scriptorium's Matt.

Next on the conference itinerary is DocTrain West in Vancouver, BC (May 6–9). Sarah will be giving two sessions: Introduction to XSL and What Technical Communicators Need to Know about Flash. Sheila Loring and Matt will be at the booth, along with the chocolate. |
