Training:
Looking Ahead to the New Year
|
|
To help you meet those New Year's resolutions about learning new
tools and skills, we offer the following classes in early 2002:
Technical Writing
101: January 14-16
Accelerated Introduction
to FrameMaker 6: January 17-18
NOTE: In 2002, Accelerated Introduction to FrameMaker will
be a two-day class. We will not be teaching the half-day on WebWorks
Publisher Standard Edition in 2002.
Advanced FrameMaker
6: January 28-29
Single Sourcing Overview:
February 11
Advanced WebWorks
Publisher 6.0 Online: February 19-28
Registration for next
year's classes is now open. In January, we'll announce our plans
for WebWorks Publisher 7.0 training, so stay tuned.

New
Training Discounts for 2002
|
|
There are now two more ways you can save money when taking our
classes.
For a limited time, you get $100 off registration when you fax
us a certificate showing you've taken training from us or another
training provider during the past 12 months. You can read more about
the $100 credit on the Training
Pricing page.
We've also established a new standby program. If we have last-minute
cancellations or available seats two days before a class, we will
make a few seats available at a substantial discount to those on
standby lists. Those who have flexible schedules--and are willing
to take a chance on standby training--can read more
about it.

TRIDOC conference
|
|
Planning is continuing for the STC Carolina Chapter TRIDOC
Conference in Research Triangle Park, NC, on April 26-27, 2002.
The planning committee has received some excellent presentation
proposals.
Thanks to all who submitted proposals.
The conference scheduled will be posted sometime in January. Contact
Sarah O'Keefe if you'd
like to volunteer.
