• Editing: We provide copy and developmental editing services for documentation we’ve written for a client and for a customer’s in-house documentation.
• Production: We develop templates and optimize a client’s existing templates by analyzing documentation and verifying that styles exist for all known components. We also pare down templates to eliminate redundant or unnecessary styles. Production includes verifying that styles are applied consistently; copyfitting; page layout; and creating indexes, tables of contents, lists of figures and tables, and glossaries.
• Publication: We convert documentation to a variety of formats, including PDF, HTML, and cross-platform online help. We recommend conversion tools or work to improve a client’s existing conversion process. We also automate the conversion process to provide for unattended daily publishing.

The extent of our involvement in a project depends on your needs. We can support your in-house team with technical editing or production services, or we can manage an entire project from start to finish. For some of our customers, we provide on-demand services; for others, we establish a long-term relationship and take over responsibility for all technical communication.
