We have updated our book-in-progress site, www.contentstrategy101.com, with new material. Official publication is still scheduled for September 2012.Highlights include portions of a new chapter on implementation, including sections on change management and risk management. We rearranged the chapters into something that we think makes more sense, added more visuals, and generally have a more coherent document.
There’s still a lot of work to be done, including discussions of content strategy patterns and more information about implementation. But I think the core of the book is in reasonable shape, especially the first few chapters, which address various business drivers for content strategy:
- Controlling technical communication costs
- Marketing and product visibility
- (this one still has a lot of missing pieces) Legal and regulatory
