As part of the preconference event for Adobe Summit, AEM Guides is hosting a user conference, and our team will be there!
Sarah O’Keefe will be leading the workshop, Technology is the Easy Part: Succeeding with DITA Adoption in Your Organization.
DITA enables efficient, mature operations that maximize the value of your business investment in content. But in the midst of reuse strategy, metadata discussions, and migration headaches, it’s easy to overlook the biggest challenges: change resistance and organizational inertia. In this workshop, Sarah will discuss how to navigate typical obstacles to DITA adoption, such as:
- “Why not Markdown?”
- “My content is special”
- “DITA is too hard”
- “What’s Wrong with Copy and Paste?”
- “You want HOW MUCH funding for this??”
