What is LearningDITA?
LearningDITA is a resource created and maintained by Scriptorium as a hub for training on the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA). If you’re just getting started with DITA, LearningDITA provides the self-paced e-learning solution you’re looking for!
How do I purchase courses?
You cannot register for or purchase courses directly from LearningDITA.com. Instead, set up your account and purchase courses at our store:
- Visit store.scriptorium.com/shop
- Select courses for purchase.
- Create your store account when prompted. The store directs you to a page to start your courses.
- If prompted, complete the privacy notice review.
You will receive emails with your LearningDITA account credentials and enrollment confirmation.
How much does LearningDITA cost?
With the switch to a new platform, we’re pricing courses at a nominal amount to partially offset our development and hosting costs.
Our LearningDITA training is pay-per-course:
- Introduction to DITA is remain free.
- Other courses start at $15 each (USD).
A nine-course bundle is available for $100—save $20 over purchasing courses individually.
Scriptorium invested a lot of effort in LearningDITA over the past 10 years, and the site requires more hosting resources to accommodate an increasing number of students. We felt that the small course fees were a better alternative than closing the site altogether. We are also developing group licensing for companies and schools.
