New to DITA? Beta test LearningDITA and get $180 of training for free

We’re revamping our LearningDITA courses to make them even more useful. 

If you want to learn about DITA but aren’t sure where to start, this training is for you. And we need your help to make sure we got it right!

We’re looking for beta testers to review seven of our updated LearningDITA courses: 

• Introduction to structured authoring and DITA
• Authoring DITA concept topics
• Authoring DITA task topics
• Authoring DITA reference and glossary topics
• Using DITA maps and bookmaps
• Reusing content in DITA
• Conditional processing and linking in DITA

How beta testing will work

1. After August 21st, a small group of beta testers will get access to courses as we finish each of them.
2. Take the courses, and give us feedback within a week after each course is released.

When the new LearningDITA courses are polished and published, you’ll get access to the six-course bundle ($180 value) as a thank-you for your time and perspective. 

Who we’re looking for

• People who are new to DITA. We need the unique perspectives of individuals who are new or minimally familiar with DITA and want to learn more. 
• People who can provide feedback quickly. Within a week of access, we need your feedback on the course material. 

What we’re looking for

We need feedback on the big-picture concepts of this training, including:  

• Did you get stuck or lose interest at any point? 
• How many hours did it take to complete the course? 
• Did the length of the modules keep you engaged? 
• Is there content that didn’t make sense or confused you? 
• What errors did you find?
• Did the videos, exercises, and assessments aid your learning experience? 
• Did the links to additional resources work (and did you find them useful)?
• What was your overall training experience like?

We ask for more than copy edits to qualify for the free bundle—but if you see a typo, please let us know.
