  1. A recent client of mine requires a printed manual to be available (fortunately they also specify easily accessible) for a type of very large and expensive high-voltage equipment. The easiest way to print is usually a PDF. (You touched on a similar situation with the government agencies who require PDF.)

    I was unable to ask any field techs whether they thought a searchable, mobile-friendly version of that info would be useful to them. I suspect the answer to that might depend on the tech person’s age.
